The Discount Detective #2 - The student discount edition - feat. UNiDAYS

As skint, full-time students and part-time shopaholics, we love our discounts! The amount of money you can save through being a student is ridiculous. If you haven't signed up for a student discount card/login, then read this post and see why you should!!

There are two main student discount sites to use. The first, and most well-known scheme is NUS extra, run by NUS (National Union of Students), you pay £12 to benefit from the discounts and you receive an ID card, which is sent to your college/school/university. The card can last from 1-3 years. It gives you discount on stores such as Amazon, Railcards, ASOS, McDonalds, The Apple Store, Dominoes Pizza, New Look and Ticketmaster.

The site we recently found, called UNiDAYS, is a FREE scheme that you can sign up to, online and receive your discounts instantly. You can join - here. You don't need to go to uni to use UNiDAYS !

You can get discount from major retailers including Topshop, Topman, ASOS, Dorothy Perkins, LoveFilm and many more!! Missguided, Urban Outfitters, Miss Selfridge, Waterstones and Schuh are some of the stores you can get discount in. You access the discounts through the UNiDAYS website for online shops, but for in-store discount, there is an app you can download and show to the cashier. The app is suitable for both iPhones and Android devices. UNiDAYS also has a mobile site that you can access on the go.

We can't rave enough about this site, it's our new favourite find. Be sure to check it out and let us know what goodies you get with the discount!
