Backstage at Stoke 2012 Live, our review :)

On the 16th and 17th of June we had the pleasure of being able to go backstage at Stoke 2012 Live!

We had such a great experience and despite the weather, the crowd really enjoyed the weekend.

With fab acts such as Wretch 32, Rizzle Kicks, The Saturdays, Labrinth, Lawson and The Loveable Rogues performing over the weekend, Stoke 2012 Live was amazing.

The whole festival had such a great atmosphere, with other activities to do such as zorbing, penalty shoot out, rides and the festival market to visit, you had plenty of choice on what to do.

Our favourite acts on the Saturday were twenty twenty and Rizzle Kicks. On the Sunday we LOVED Lawson and Labrinth. You can check out our interview with the boys from Twenty Twenty here (THANKS BOYS :) )

The festival was so well organised, with no big break between acts. Even when there was a pause between artists, Signal 1 broadcasted live backstage clips of the performers backstage, which got the crowd geared up and excited. 

The festival was perfect for families, there was plenty of space to move, enjoy yourself and even dance if you wanted to ;) Unlike other concerts, where you can sometimes feel cramped, you could really relax at Stoke 2012 Live.

Labrinth

There were plenty of facilities, no queing for portaloos, haha! There were also lots of stalls you could order cheap food and drink from. In regards to safety, the event was well policed and the security were really nice and helpful. "Helpful security?!" You shout. Yes, we couldn't believe it either.

Another bonus about Stoke 2012 Live is that the tickets were so cheap! ONLY £10. PER. DAY. And the proceeds went to Signal 1's charity Help a Signal Child. You can check out the website and donate here.
