The Wanted @ Scarborough Open Air Theatre Review!

Recently we had the amazing opportunity to go backstage, at The Wanted's concert at the Scarborough Open Air Theatre. The lads arrived out of the car, with Kelsey, Tom's girlfriend, greeted by the biggest security guard we have ever seen. The Wanted requested 'someone to high five' when they arrived on their rider, here is Max enjoying high fiving said security guard.

Jay then shouted 'quick lads, we can take him' and proceeded to jump on the guards back, who then proceeded to tackle him to the floor. It was hilarious to say the least. Here's the snap we got of that. (Siva is on top, haha!)

It was baby of the band, Nathan's first full set back after being off for over two months with a hemorrhaging vocal chord. We were so glad to see him back, here we are with him.

The venue was such an amazing place, it was breathtakingly beautiful.

We watched the soundcheck in the afternoon, once the boys had arrived and got an exclusive private viewing of their new mash-up by The Killers. It is by far my favourite mash-up/cover they have ever done.

We were actually allowed into the lads' dressing room to interview them, our inner fangirls did peek out to say hello, I must admit. But we were professional and everything... until we hugged them all. #sorrynotsorry
You can check out our interview with The Wanted below:

We took photos for the boys to sign, which they decided to graffiti, we will be giving these away soon, so keep an eye out on our facebook and twitter pages!
The show itself was amazing, despite the awful weather. We saw the boys perform Walks Like Rihanna, finally!
We got a photo with the lads right before they went onto stage to perform.

Amelia Lily, A*M*E and local singer ALAN. supported the band. You can listen to our interview with Amelia Lily here:
The night ended perfectly with fireworks.

We just want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Scarborough Open Air Theatre and Scarborough Council for treating us like VIPS for a day, we had an amazing time!!
